AUSA’s Family Programs Directorate is dedicated to providing Army families with information and resources to help them manage the challenges of military life and to address Army family concerns through AUSA’s legislative efforts and by being active on a number of Department of the Army councils and working groups.

Why is this important to the Army?
The Army is approaching the 2012 AUSA Winter Symposium as a primary communication platform including deliberate outreach activities in the region. This year the Army is leveraging the symposium to reinforce that the Army is the Nations Force of Decisive Action - Ready Today, Prepared for Tomorrow. Army leaders will address the Armys role in science, technology, and acquisition, and how these enable the Army to move toward Army of 2020.
